Azerishiq — SCADA Operation Control Room

STV Global designed and implemented a SCADA-based Operation Control Room for Azerishiq, the national electricity distribution company of Azerbaijan. The project was aimed at ensuring reliable grid management, real-time monitoring, and fast response to operational challenges across the country’s power infrastructure.

Azerishiq — SCADA Operation Control Room

Centralized Grid Management

The Control Room was designed as the main hub for overseeing and managing Azerbaijan’s nationwide power distribution network. With the integration of advanced SCADA technology, operators gained complete and continuous visibility of substations, transformers, transmission lines, and overall energy flows. This capability not only allows faults to be detected in real time but also enables precise balancing and management of the electricity supply.

Operators can instantly visualize grid voltage, load levels, and potential fault risks, making it possible to take corrective actions without delay. This ensures a higher level of resilience, minimizes the impact of outages, and optimizes overall energy distribution. At the same time, centralized monitoring improves coordination between regional teams, streamlining communication and enhancing the overall efficiency of grid operations.

Real-Time Monitoring & Scalable Infrastructure

Through large-scale video wall systems and unified visualization platforms, operators can track critical metrics, detect faults instantly, and optimize energy distribution. The immersive setup creates a clear and reliable environment for managing mission-critical infrastructure.

The solution was designed with long-term resilience in mind. Featuring modular systems, low-latency data integration, and operator-centric ergonomics, the control room can expand as Azerishiq’s network grows — ensuring stable, secure, and future-ready operations.
